Andras (CH Nádorpusztai András of Habanero)

Andras (CH Nádorpusztai András of Habanero)

  • Hungarian registration: met.mv.9520/13

I am excited and honoured to introduce Nádorpusztai András of Habanero as a sire in my breeding programme (thank you, Ronalie Frew).

András was bred and born in the vizsla home country of Hungary, and comes from magnificent lines of dogs bred for hunting versatility. Both sides of his parentage have earned mutliple championship titles in both field trial work and conformation, both in the home country and internationally. It is a privilege to be introducing these lines into New Zealand, as part of my contribution to the vitality of the vizsla breed going forward here.

Mohoskoi Moci, the sire of Andras, is highly valued as a hunting dog in Hungary. He has ancestors from many famous working kennels, and he himself has made a strong genetic contribution to many more champion dogs. Another photo can be seen of him in the vizsla database, here: http://www.vizsladatabase.com/details.php?id=39120

On the dam side of Andras' parentage, Magyarkuti Edes, was a stunning bitch. She also was descended from excellent working and conformation lines, and has an impressive array of titles herself. Another photo can be seen of her in the vizsla database, here: http://www.vizsladatabase.com/details.php?id=39359

I first discovered Andras through one of his offspring, who is doing very well in field trials, with strong inherited natural ability. Andras himself, as well as being a prized stud dog is also a valued family member with a beautiful temperament. He has excellent hips and elbows, and has performed well in conformation.
